The suspended chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Ondo State, Hon. Fatai Adams who was placed on indefinite suspension by the majority of the party’s State Executive Officers has revealed that he is still the chairman of the Party.

Hon. Fatai Adams who made the assertion in an exclusive interview with City Movers Magazine via telephone stated that according to the position of national executives of the party, he is still the chairman of the party in Ondo State.

Before reaching the suspended chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams on phone, City Movers investigated reasons why he was placed on suspension.

Some of the allegations levied against Fatai Adams is that, he was not only playing antipartisan game but very stingy and lack of leadership charisma.

Some of the staff at the party secretariat who preferred to remain anonymous was vehemently raining abuses on the suspended chairman, even prayed that he would never come back to the chairmanship position.

One of the executive members of the party (name withheld) explained to City Movers Magazine that the suspended chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams was too selfish financially even when it comes to propagating party’s image.

It was gathered that out of 10 executive members of the party 9 signed against Fatai Adams while the remaining one was not around.

Reacting to the figure, 9 out of 10 signed against him, Hon. Adams revealed that it was one of the political plans melted against him.

One of the elders of the party (name withheld) was seriously wary to say anything on Fatai Adams, he said, Fatai Adams seriously disappointed everybody with his lackadaisical attitude towards the growth of the party in the state, therefore, he was highly flabbergasted with all the allegations levied against him.

In addition, it was rumoured that due to the suspension, Fatai Adams was seriously preparing to dump PDP for another party, but reacting to City Movers question, he debunked the rumour. “I am not going to another party, as far as am concerned by the position of our national executives, I am still the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Ondo State.”
