The management of Benin Electrification Distribution Company, BEDC yesterday appreciated the Officers and men of Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, NHFSS, Owo Division, Ondo State Command for recovering stolen cable by underworld men.
The Divisional Hunter Officer, DHO, Owo division, officer Olanitori reported that while patrolling on Wednesday midnight his men ceased cable belonging to BEDC from thieves.
He further reported that the suspected crime perpetrators went to cut Transformer Cable, loaded it on motorcycle, but when Officers of Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, NHFSS caught them, they flee away and left the stolen cable, conducting iron and motorcycle.
On behalf of Ondo State Commander, Amb. Emmanuel Adedayo, officer Olanitori, DHO Owo Division appealed to the state government for assistance in all ramifications, he explained that, they need vehicles, motorcycles and other necessary security apparatus.
