An APC stalwart in Ondo state, Dr Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu aka Cubana has congratulated Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his landslide victory in just concluded governoship election held on Saturday 16th November, 2024.
Addressing the press in his country home after the announcement of the epochal victory, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu did not only describe the election as free and fair but a reflection of people’s choice for continuity of purposeful administration of Aiyedatiwa/ Adelami and confirmation of pre-ordained agenda orchestrated by the supreme being.
He said: “The resounding electoral success in all the 18 local government areas of Ondo state, has expressed the unequivocal preference of the politically- conscious electorate for the ever- shining personality and performance of Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
” The unprecedented 18:0 landmark feat recorded by the amiable Governor will continue to be referenced as a pivotal achievement in the annals of the state for many years to come. It will also send signals to the whole world that APC is the only formidable party in Ondo State”.
Dr Adu also appreciated the dedication, unity of purpose, loyalty and commitment of all the APC leaders at different hierarchical levels and members of the party in the Ondo state before and during this off -circle election.
“The electorate exhibited enough civility, patience and maturity in exercising their civic responsibility.
” The electoral body, INEC has shown top- notch professionalism, displaying transparent processes of accreditation and voting. The security operatives and other monitoring teams were very decorous and unbiased”, he opined further.
According to Dr Adu, the results of the election
gave him great joy because it showed an improvement over the past experiments as our democracy inches towards attaining the best global practices.
On his earlier promises of rewarding the best performing Local government area and three wards within Ondo Central Senatorial District with cash gifts of 5 million naira and 2 million naira respectively, Dr Adu, a respected philanthropist, has set up a committee that will implement the financial awards based on the election results.
” I can assure our traditional rulers, religious and community leaders, government workers, civil populace and other decent residents that your huge love and unflinching support for His Excellency, Gov. Aiyedatiwa shall be reciprocated. Ondo state will witness new breezes of development and welfarism”, Dr Adu affirmed.
The Akure- born billionaire wishes Mr governor a successful tenure as he discharges his renewed mandate efficiently and effectively under God’s guidance.
