As part of infrastructural development happening accros the state especially in the capital city of Ondo State, Akure, the traffic lights that had been abandoned for some years ago is now in operation, not only functioning perfectly but serving the road users very well.

One of the road users who requested to remain annonymous informed City Movers Magazine that Ondo State Government should place cameras in strategic locations so as to track traffic light offenders.

In his tete-a-tete with the Editor-in-Chief, City Movers Magazine, Prince Adebayo Adediran, the young man who spoke passionately disclosed that at night some of the road users always disobey the traffic light.

“If i have the opportunity to discuss with the people in authority, i will strongly encourage them to set up cameras at strategic locations for tracking those traffic light offenders or defaulters.”

According to him, such offenders should be taken to court and fined heavily and the amount generated will be part of the state’s Internally Generated Revenue. (State IGR).
