The Ondo State Government has commenced an extensive pre-assessment of new road corridors across communities in the Southern Senatorial District as part of its drive to accelerate infrastructural development under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
This assertion was made known to City Movers Magazine on Wednesday 10th September 2025 via Olanrewaju Ayo the media adviser to Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engineer Abiola Olawoye.
Leading a team of seasoned engineers and technical experts, the Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye FNSE, FNICE, inspected communities including Ilutitun, Igbegunrin, Iju-Odo, Osooro, Omotosho, Igbotako, and Igbokoda.
The tour, he said, was a proactive step towards identifying critical roads that require urgent intervention for inclusion in the next phase of massive infrastructural rollout.
Engr. Olawoye reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to rapid, sustainable, and technically sound infrastructure delivery, assuring residents that both urban highways and rural roads will be addressed.
He emphasized that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s visionary leadership continues to prioritize connectivity, durability, and economic growth, ensuring every project are delivered as scheduled.
