The multiple award winning Medical Doctor in Ondo State and Nigeria at large, Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese, the Chief Medical Director of Sckye Hospitals Limited who chaired the 15th Anniversary of City Movers Magazine cum Ondo State Celebrites Lecture and Awards which came up on Sunday 19th October, 2025 at OSDPC hall was adjuged a highly successful event.
In his address as the chairman of the occasion, Dr. Ikubese admonished hundreds of people in the auditorium not to neglect little beginning of any venture of their intetest.
He foremost appreciated the publisher of the magazine, Prince Adebayo Adediran for his prompt hearken to the advise that he should commence City movers magazine, irrespective of his financial capability.
Furthermore, Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese, a Nigeria Presidential Candidate in 2019 extolled the guest speaker, Dr. Abiodun Oyeneyin, Director General, Ondo State Contributory Health Commission for his wonderful talk on the anniversary topic, “Universal Health Coverage As An Engine for Economic Resilience.”
Aside the aforesaid, the convener of #YesWeFit Movement, Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese presented awards to Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Comrade Omoniyi Victor, popularly called ‘Omoluka,’ and Comrade Samuel Omoniyi Oni popularly known as Eniba among others.
He therefore appealed to award recipients not to derail from what attributed to their recognition and encouraged their allies to emulate good virtues for them to be identified for similar honour in nearest future.
He as well appreciated the guest speaker, Dr Abiodun Oyeneyin for delivering the wonderful paper within the stipulated time.
